    My dad visited Dr. Irani re. cataracts and was very disappointed and annoyed to learn, on second opinion by a more experienced ophthalmologist, that he had been greatly overcharged and had been recommended unnecessary surgery. The consultation was charged at more than 250% of the same consult and examination with our second ophthalmologist. My dad was also strongly recommended by Dr. Irani and reception staff into booking into unnecessary surgery - also charged at greatly above the state-average cost. It seems that Dr. Irani and his practice mislead my dad into excessive treatment and over-charge on multiple fronts. Would not recommend.
